So why fans had to wait this long for a sequel seems like a mystery. Age of Wonders 3 was critically acclaimed all around reviewers praised it for its battle system and the design of the various different worlds, and it had solid sales numbers. Other 4X games include Stellaris, Civilization, and the newest in the genre, Dune: Spice Wars. The Age of Wonders franchise is famous for its combination of 4X strategy and turn-based combat in a fantasy setting. The surprise and the excitement are equally palpable among the fans of Paradox Interactive games as the last iteration, Age of Wonders 3, was released nine years ago. Now, it's even less likely that originators will ever work on that franchise again.Age of Wonders 4 was announced recently during Paradox Interactive and developer Triumph Studio's stream. Unfortunately, Overlord is not in their possession it belongs to the publishing house Codemasters which in 2015 made the last game of this series without cooperation with Triumph Studios. The second series on which Triumph Studios worked was a lovely action RPG called Overlord. Age of Wonders has experienced three numerical parts and five games in total, and under Paradox could have a bright future. Triumph Studios is a Dutch company that has in the past twenty years worked on two series, one of which is well known in the world of strategies. Now their influence in the strategic genre will increase even further because with the acquisition grabbed the Triumph Studios development team. They consolidated their status with the series Europa Universalis and Hearts of Iron, and had their fingers in games such as Crusader Kings, Cities: Skylines, Stellaris and many others. The Paradox Interactive publishing house is indispensable when strategic games are mentioned.
